The brand
Kiwanda Cloud makes online business systems — one made for each kind of business — on any phone or computer, in Kiswahili and English. Kiwanda means factory: we started where businesses are hardest to run, and built the system with a working concrete-products factory.
Factory system
Open now. Runs a factory from the materials it buys to the money it receives.
Invoicing system
Coming soon. Quotes, invoices and receipts for shops, services and traders.
Construction system
Coming soon. Every project and site with its budget, materials, workers and progress.
Brand line
Your business, in order.Business systems, made to fit.
Who we talk to
Owners and managers of factories across Tanzania come first — starting with block and concrete-products yards. Then their teams, and next, shops, traders and contractors.
What they care about, in their words
Who owes me?
Debtors and balances, any day.
Did the money come in?
Cash, mobile money and bank, matched to invoices.
What's in stock?
Materials in, products out, nothing unaccounted for.
No leakage
Nobody spends without a second pair of eyes.
From anywhere
The yard, the road, the site — on a phone.
In Kiswahili
Every person works in the language they know best.
Voice & tone
Plain, confident, practical. We sound like a capable business partner, not a tech company.
Kiswahili leads, English supports
The headline is Kiswahili. One English line underneath carries the same meaning.
Short sentences, everyday words
ankara, malipo, stoo, ripoti. Never "cloud", "SaaS", "platform" or "digital transformation".
Real business moments
An invoice paid, a payment confirmed, an expense approved — in shillings.
Promise only what the product does
No invented customer counts, results or testimonials. Kiswahili copy is checked by a native speaker.

Logo
An orange cloud over a white factory roofline, on a navy tile. Paired with the wordmark KIWANDA CLOUD in Archivo ExtraBold, all caps.
On navy: tile drawn in Navy 700 so its edge stays visible.
On cream or white: navy tile, navy wordmark.
On orange: navy tile, navy wordmark.
Clear space & size
- Clear space: a quarter of the tile's width on every side.
- Minimum size: 48 px on screen, 12 mm in print.
- Wordmark cap height ≈ 40% of the tile; tracking ≈ 0.14em.
Don't
- Recolour the cloud or the roofline.
- Stretch, rotate or crop the tile.
- Add shadows, outlines, gradients or effects.
- Set the wordmark in another typeface or in lowercase.
- Place the logo on busy photos without a solid tile behind it.
Colour
Navy, orange and cream carry the brand. Tap any swatch to copy its hex code.
Approved text pairs
White on orange and orange on cream: large display text only (24 px and up).
Ground rotation
On the Instagram grid, rotate post backgrounds navy → cream → orange → navy. Neighbouring posts never share a ground.
Typography
One family: Archivo, free on Google Fonts. Heavy, compact and clear on small phone screens.

Layout
Posts are built from rounded cards fitted together — a bento grid — not one flat poster. Each post has one hero: a giant number, a photo or a phone mock-up.
| Feed post | Story | |
|---|---|---|
| Size | 3000 × 3750 px (4:5) | 1080 × 1920 px |
| Side margin | 240 px | 64 px |
| Top / bottom | 220 / 200 px | 250 / 280 px safe zones |
| Card gap | 60 px | 28 px |
| Card radius | 110 px | 48 px |
| Card padding | 110 px | 40–60 px |
- Card colours: navy, orange, cream, white — max three per post.
- Cards are flat: no shadows, no left-border accents, no gradients.
- Footer on every feed post: logo + wordmark left, website pill + @kiwandacloud right.
Components
Reusable pieces that make every post recognisably ours.
Pill buttons
One CTA per post. The arrow-in-circle (↗) is the brand's call-to-action motif.
Notification chips
Real app moments floating over photos or phones. The only element with a shadow. One or two per post, and only things the product really does.
Photography
Real Tanzanian businesses at work, phone in hand, in warm natural light.

Look for
- Block yards, factory floors, delivery trucks, offices in Dar es Salaam, Mwanza, Arusha.
- Owners in hard hats and hi-vis, managers approving, drivers delivering.
- Late-afternoon light; navy and orange in the scene are a bonus.
- Faces and phones in the top two-thirds when a chip overlays the photo.
AI-generated images
- Allowed — always check hands and fingers.
- Remove any other brand's logos.
- Never let a fake app screen be readable: place a real Kiwanda screen or chip over it.
- Export at 2× for 3000 px feed posts.
Iconography
Simple line icons: 24 px grid, 2 px stroke, round caps and joins. Orange on light grounds, navy on orange. No emoji in graphics.
